Looks like it could be another winner.

The other pilot on the DVD was Kidnapped. This is another show where a single story is played out over an entire season. In this case its the kidnapping of the son of a wealthy businessman. It was interesting, but I'm not sure it will be must-see tv for me. And the downside of some of these shows that tell a single story all season is that you have to see each episode or its not worth it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9637874.post-1156995005163714142006-08-30T22:30:00.000-05:002006-08-30T22:30:00.000-05:00M.J.Strap yourself in for Studio 60 on the Sunset ...M.J.
Strap yourself in for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. It has the original writers and producers from TWW, as well as Timothy Busfield and Bradley Whitford.
It has a great cast.
I watched the pilot and was impressed.MysterLynchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06885108255773793665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9637874.post-1156981541052512972006-08-30T18:45:00.000-05:002006-08-30T18:45:00.000-05:00I am bereft that WW is gone. I've loved it. Right now, I'm half way through the fifth season. I'm starting to notice the difference in the stories. They seem less character driven, and more about that week's crisis. I'm sticking with it for now, but the urgenct in my seeing the shows is lessening.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9637874.post-1156930687542775182006-08-30T04:38:00.000-05:002006-08-30T04:38:00.000-05:00First four seasons were great. Ugh.

Say what you will about Sorkin, but he created wonderful characters and delivered great scripts. Season 5 and 6 dumbed things down and made the show like any other one on network tv.MysterLynchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06885108255773793665noreply@blogger.com
