Ruth and I hit two stores and had a great time. Collector's Edge, south location is my local and where I shop almost exclusively. We also went to Lost World of Wonders, a nice store with a nice selection of manga and animie.
We got a total of 18 different books, more on that in another post. We also bought a bunch of books and some toys.
The cool thing was the kids. We saw loads of kids with their parents loving the comics. The next generation of readers? A lot of them were out today getting free comics. And none of them had e-readers!
The idea of giving out free books to kids to get them to read works. Why is it only comic book publishers get this?
